This part specifies two test methods - Scott volumetric method and funnel method to determine the apparent density of aluminum powder, magnesium powder and Al-Mg alloy powder.
Scott volumetric method is applicable to determine granular powder which can pass through 2500μm sieve mesh by using banister brush.
Funnel method is applicable to determine sheet powder containing micro-lubricant which can pass through 500μm sieve mesh by using banister brush.
