1 Scope
This standard specifies the symbols, classification and designation, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of slewing bearing for crane of ship (hereinafter referred to as slewing bearing).
This standard is applicable to the design, manufacture and acceptance of slewing bearing for crane of ship and offshore crane at an ambient temperature not lower than -40°C.
