1. Scope
This standard specifies the material, product classification, technical requirements, test method, inspection rule, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of the fittings of steel framed polyethylene plastic pipe (hereinafter referred to as composite pipe fitting) which is molded through the injection of polyethylene (medium density or high density) thermoplastic resin and the reinforced frame made by coiling and welding the uniformly punched steel sheet.
This standard is applicable to the indoor/outdoor, overhead and buried composite pipe fittings for pressure conveyance of water and drinking water. For the medium conveyed by composite pipe fitting, its temperature for long-term usage and short-term usage of composite pipe fitting shall not exceed 70℃ and 80℃ respectively. The composite pipe fitting shall be used in conjunction with the composite pipes produced according to "Steel Framed Polyethylene Plastic Pipe" (CJ/T 123).
