1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transport, storage and accompanying documents of the snow plow.
This standard is applicable to snow plows mounted on vehicles, construction machinery and other traveling equipment to remove snow.

a plow-shaped device used for removing snow on roads, which is an assembly consisting of a scraper blade, a blade, a connecting bracket, a hydraulic control system, an electric control system and the like

front-mounted snow plow
snow plow installed in front of the traveling equipment such as vehicles and construction machinery [see Figure 1a)]
