Corrugated fiberboard
1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms, definitions and code, structure, classification and grading, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules as well as marking, packaging, transportation and storage for corrugated fiberboard.
This standard is applicable to corrugated fiberboard for outer packaging.

3.1 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this standard, the following terms and definitions apply.

fluted paper
paper with regular and permanent corrugations which is produced through corrugation of corrugating medium
3.1.2
corrugated fiberboard
composite fiberboard made of one or more layers of fluted paper bonded between several layers of paper or fiberboard, which is used to make corrugated boxes
3.1.3
single-wall corrugated fiberboard
corrugated fiberboard formed by bonding two layers of paper or fiberboard and one layer of fluted paper
3.1.4
double-wall corrugated fiberboard
corrugated fiberboard formed by bonding three layers of paper or fiberboard and two layers of fluted paper
3.1.5
triple-wall corrugated fiberboard
corrugated fiberboard formed by bonding four layers of paper or fiberboard and three layers of fluted paper
