1 Scope
This standard specifies the test methods for quantitative analysis of ramie (flax hemp) cotton blended textile by microscopic projector and digital image analyzer.
This standard is applicable to ramie (flax hemp) cotton blended textile.

GB/T 8170 Rules of Rounding off for Numerical Values & Expression and Judgment of Limiting Values
FZ/T 01057.3 Test Method for Identification of Textile Fibres - Part 3: Microscopic Method
3 Principles
Both hemp and cotton contain plant cellulose fibre. The composition content of their blended textile neither can be measured by chemical analysis methods, nor hemp and cotton of the textile be separated by mechanical method. In this method, use common biomicroscope, microscopic projector or digital image analyzer to distinguish and count a certain quantity of fibre, then us microscopic projector or digital image analyzer to measure the diameter or cross-sectional area of the fibre to work out the weight percentage content of each kind of fibre.
