This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, judgment rules, product instructions, packaging, transportation and storage of warp knitted faux fur products.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following term and definition apply.

a double-needle bed warp knitting machine is adopted to feed yarns or filaments into a double face fabric connected by extension threads of a certain length, and then the extension threads are cut away in the middle and subjected to dyeing and finishing processing to prepare the pile fabric with fur style
4 Requirements
4.1 Item
The requirements involve inherent quality and appearance quality. The inherent quality covers effective width deviation rate, weight deviation rate per square meter, dimensional stability to washing, depilate quantity, colour fastness to light, colour fastness to washing with soap or soap and soda, colour fastness to rubbing, colour fastness to water, colour fastness to perspiration, formaldehyde content, pH value, peculiar smell, decomposable carcinogenic aromatic amine dyes, fiber content and organotin compounds. The appearance quality covers local defects and scattered defects.
4.2 Grading requirements
4.2.1 Products are classified into superior products, first-grade products and acceptable products in terms of the quality grade.
4.2.2 Products are graded by batches in terms of inherent quality and by pieces in terms of appearance quality, and shall take the lowest grade in case of a combination of both.
4.3 Inherent quality requirements
4.3.1 See Table 1 for inherent quality requirements.

4.3.2 Products for infants and children shall also meet the relevant requirements specified in GB 31701.
4.4 Appearance quality requirements
4.4.1 Appearance defects and their grading
There are local defects and scattered defects based on pieces. According to the degree of influence on wearability, they are subjected to label grading and grading respectively.
4.4.2 Label provisions
4.4.2.1 Local appearance defects are labeled according to provisions, with 10cm labeled for clothing fabrics, 20cm labeled for home textile blankets and 5cm labeled for other purposes.
4.4.2.2 Local appearance defects are not cut in principle, but if there are over 5cm broken holes, over 50cm brushing and clipping damages, over 50cm lack of pile, serious uneven pile face, serious course mark, 5 labels within one continuous meter, and continuous defects with net length of 200cm or more, the defects shall be cut. If it shall but does not be cut, it is not allowed.
4.4.2.3 For superior products, the number of products allowed to be labeled per meter is 0.1; for first-grade products, the number is 0.2; and for acceptable products, the number is 0.3.

5 Test methods
5.1 Sampling quantity
5.1.1 Samples with the same raw material ingredients, yarn count, machine number, weave structure and by the same sorting method are regarded as the same variety.
5.1.2 As for appearance quality, take 1%~3% of products from the same variety randomly as samples, and the sample quantity shall not less than three rolls. Samples of different color codes shall be evenly matched and taken.
5.1.3 For inherent quality, take samples randomly from the same variety of finished products. As for test of the dimensional stability to washing, three test samples with dimension of 500mm×500mm are taken from three rolls respectively, and one test sample with a full width of 1,000mm is taken for other items.
