1 Scope
This standard specifies all technical characteristics such as requirements, test methods, inspection classification rules, marking, packaging, transport and storage of woven swimming wear.
This standard is applicable to swimming wear and cap produced with textiles as main shell fabric.
This standard is not applicable to swimming wear and cap for infants with the age of 36 months or less.

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 15557 and the following apply.
3.1
fluorescent color
color named according to the characteristic of dye or pigment that it shows color by absorbing light and emitting light and fluorescence within the area with visible light
4 Requirements
4.1 Instruction
Instructions for the finished products are in accordance with those specified in GB 5296.4.
4.2 Size designation and specification
4.2.1 Woven swimming wear is classified into three types, i.e. one-piece swimsuit, split swimsuit and swimming trunks.
4.2.2 As for one-piece swimsuit, suitable net height, net chest girth or net waist girth shall be marked in centimeters.
