This standard is developed in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB 15892-2009 Poly aluminium chloride for treatment of drinking water and the following main technical changes have been made with respect to GB 15892-2009:
——The indexes of polyaluminium chloride for treatment of drinking water (see Table 1; Table 1 of Edition 2009);
——The determination of iron content is added (see 6.7);
——The arsenic stain method used in determination of arsenic content is modified to atomic fluorescence spectrometry (see 6.8.1; 5.6.2 of Edition 2009);
——The flame atomic absorption spectrometry is added for the determination of lead content and of cadmium content (see 6.9.2 and 6.10.2).
——The spectrophotometry for determination of mercury content is modified as atomic fluorescence spectrometry (see 6.11.1; 5.9.1 of Edition 2009);
——The determination of hexavalent chromium content is deleted (see 5.11 of Edition 2009);
——The determination of chromium content is added (see 6.12);
This standard was proposed by and is under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China.
The previous editions of this standard are as follows:
——GB 15892-1995, GB 15892-2003 and GB 15892-2009.
Polyaluminium chloride for treatment of drinking water
Warning——Strong acids and alkalis used in this standard are corrosive, so inhalation or contact with skin shall be avoided when using them. Flush with plenty of water immediately when splashed on the body, and seek medical attention immediately when serious.
1 Scope
This standard specifies requirements, test methods, inspection rules as well as marking, packaging, transport and storage of polyaluminium chloride for treatment of drinking water.
This standard is applicable to polyaluminium chloride for treatment of drinking water, which is mainly used for purification of drinking water.
