3 Terms and definitions
For the purpose of this standard, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
system working pressure
pressure at the outlet of vessel valve on fire extinguishing agent cylinder set
Note: If the vessel valve on the fire extinguishing agent cylinder set does not have the pressure reducing function, the working pressure of the system is the working pressure of the cylinder set.
If the vessel valve on the fire extinguishing agent cylinder set has the pressure reducing function, the working pressure of the system is the pressure at the outlet of the vessel valve after the pressure is reduced.
3.2
filling density
ratio of the mass of the fire extinguishing agent in storage vessel to the volume of the vessel, expressed in kg/m3
3.3
compressed inert gaseous fire extinguishing system
fire extinguishing system in which the fire extinguishing agent in the fire extinguishing agent cylinder set is transported by its own pressure
3.4
stored pressure gaseous fire extinguishing system
fire extinguishing system in which the fire extinguishing agent is pressurized and stored with inert gas in the cylinder set, and is transported by the pressurized gas in the cylinder set when the system is operating
3.5
storage pressure
equilibrium pressure in the storage vessel which is filled with fire extinguishing agent per the maximum filling density (or the maximum filling pressure) and is placed at +20℃, with respect to compressed inert gaseous fire extinguishing system
equilibrium pressure in the storage vessel which is filled with fire extinguishing agent per the maximum filling density and is placed at +20℃, with respect to stored pressure gaseous fire extinguishing system
equilibrium pressure in the storage vessel which is filled with gas per the maximum filling pressure or filling density and is placed at +20℃, with respect to expellant gas cylinder set
