GB 37219-2023 Safety specification of inflatable play equipment
1 Scope
This document specifies the general requirements, safety requirements, material requirements, accompanying documentation and use management requirements for inflatable play equipment, as well as the inspection, testing and test methods for such equipment.
This document is applicable to inflatable play equipment for children aged 3 to 14 to play on land.
This document is not applicable to inflatable toys, inflatable buildings, rubber boats, inflatable swimming pools and inflatable equipment used for advertising, exhibitions, acrobatic performances, safety, rescue, aviation and aerospace.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 28622 and the following apply.

inflatable play equipment
facility mainly made of flexible fabric, which maintains its shape by air provided continuously or filled in advance, and on the surface of which the main activities of the users are bouncing, sliding, climbing, or interactive play, and which does not move with the users in the process of amusement
3.2
air blower
device for continuously providing air in inflatable play equipment
3.3
blow cube
component connecting an air blower with inflatable play equipment
3.4
open side
side of inflatable play equipment where no containment wall is provided
3.5
step
stair for users to enter and exit inflatable play equipment
3.6
run-out
area at the bottom of a slide used for deceleration

4 General requirements
4.1 Inflatable play equipment shall be subject to risk evaluation to identify the hazards to human body, health and equipment during use and foreseeable misuse, as well as the hazards during installation, maintenance and repair of the inflatable play equipment, the possible consequences of the hazards shall also be evaluated, and targeted measures be proposed to eliminate or control the risks.
4.2 When any change is made to the design of inflatable play equipment, a new risk evaluation shall be conducted.
