1 General provisions
1.0.1 This standard is formulated with a view to standardizing the installation and acceptance of rotating electrical machines, unifying the installation and acceptance standards, ensuring the installation quality, and promoting the improvement of installation technology.
1.0.2 This standard is applicable to the construction and acceptance of motors, and steam turbine generators and synchronous compensators with a capacity of 6,000kW or above among rotating electrical machines.
1.0.3 The construction and acceptance of imported units shall be carried out according to the standards stipulated in the contract, and the acceptance standards shall not be inferior to those specified in this standard.
1.0.4 The installation and commissioning of the mechanical part of rotating electrical machine shall conform to the current relevant standards of the nation.

2 Terms
2.0.1 synchronous compensator
synchronous machine composed of stator, rotor and excitation system, which is used to improve the power factor of power grid and maintain the voltage level of power grid, also known as synchronous compensator or synchronous phase modifier
2.0.2 the splice head
transition connection part between the conductor at the end of porcelain lead-out bushing of the generator and the external bus, of which the contact surfaces of electrical connection are all silver plated and are tightly spliced by non-magnetic bolts
3 Basic requirements
3.0.1 The transportation and storage of rotating electrical machines shall conform to those specified in this standard. When the product has special requirements, the requirements of the product technical documents shall also be met.
3.0.2 The equipment and apparatuses used shall meet the requirements of design and product technical documents, and the equipment shall be provided with nameplate and certificate of approval.
3.0.3 After being transported to the site, the equipment and apparatuses shall be subjected to acceptance inspection within the specified time limit. Acceptance inspection shall include preliminary inspection and unpacking inspection, and shall meet the following requirements:
1 Preliminary inspection shall include the following contents:
1) Vehicle surface inspection: equipment and apparatuses shall be bound reasonably and firmly in good condition, and shall be free from collision and overturning;
2) Appearance inspection: the packages shall be complete and free from damage and moisture, and the unpackaged items shall be free from damage and deformation;
3) Quantity counting: the quantity of packaged and unpackaged items shall be accurate;
4) The preliminary inspection shall be documented, written or image records shall be formed for the problems found, and all records shall be signed for confirmation.
2 Unpacking inspection shall meet the following requirements:
1) The equipment and apparatuses shall be in good packing and sealing condition;
2) The model and specification of equipment and apparatuses shall meet the requirements of design documents; the quantity of equipment, accessories, spare parts, special tools, etc. shall be consistent with the contract and packing list;
3) The appearance shall be free from damage, deformation, moisture and rust;
4) The product technical documents shall be complete;
5) The unpacking inspection shall be documented, written or image records shall be formed for the problems found, and all records shall be signed for confirmation.
3.0.4 The storage period of rotating electrical machines before installation shall be one year or less. When long-term storage is required, it shall comply with the relevant requirements of the current professional standard DL/T 855 The code for maintenance and safekeeping of thermal power equipment in electric power construction.
3.0.5 The building engineering related to installation of rotating electrical machines shall meet the following requirements:
1 The quality of buildings (structures) shall meet the relevant requirements of the current national standard GB 50300 Unified standard for constructional quality acceptance of building engineering.
2 Before the equipment is installed, the building engineering shall meet the following conditions:
1) The roofing and flooring works shall be completed without leakage;
2) The concrete foundation shall reach the strength enough for installation;
3) Site formwork and sundries shall be cleaned up;
4) The position, dimension and quality of foundation, anchor bolt holes, channels, holes, embedded parts and cable ducts shall meet the requirements of design documents, and the embedded parts shall be firm.
3 Before the equipment is put into operation, secondary grouting and plastering shall be completed, and the secondary grouting strength shall meet the design requirements.
3.0.6 Safety technical measures shall be formulated for important construction items or processes of rotating electrical machines.
3.0.7 The finished product shall be well protected after the equipment is installed in place.
4 Steam turbine generator and synchronous compensator
4.1 General requirements
4.1.1 The construction of steam turbine generator set and synchronous compensator shall meet the requirements of approved design, order contract, technical agreement and product technical documents. To make any modification or change, the design unit and manufacturer shall issue corresponding supporting documents and go through relevant approval procedures.
4.1.2 The finished or semi-finished products processed and prepared by the outsourcing unit and on the site shall be inspected according to relevant requirements before use.
4.1.3 Generator and synchronous compensator must have at least 2 obvious grounding points, and shall be respectively connected at different positions of grounding grid. Grounding must be firm and reliable.
4.1.4 The construction and acceptance of exciter for synchronous generator and synchronous compensator with a capacity of 6,000kW or above shall comply with the relevant requirements of Clause 5 hereof.
4.2 Storage, handling and hoisting
4.2.1 The generators and synchronous compensators shall be inspected to meet the following requirements after arriving at the site and before installation:
1 The package shall be complete and there shall be no collision damage during transportation;
2 The rotor surface and the protective layer of shaft journal shall be complete and free from damage and rust, and there shall be no water accumulation inside the package;
3 The water and gas inlet and outlet channels of water-cooled and hydrogen-cooled generators and synchronous compensators shall be tightly closed, and all the blanking elements at the air inlet and outlet on the surface of hydrogen-cooled rotor shall be complete and in good condition;
4 The nitrogen purity and pressure of the generators and synchronous compensators which are transported and stored in a nitrogen-filled state shall meet the requirements of product technical documents.
4.2.2 The generators and synchronous compensators shall be stored according to the following requirements after arriving at the site and before installation:
1 The bearing capacity of sleeper stack, unloading platform and platform shall be inspected and confirmed before placing;
2 The main equipment of generator and synchronous compensator shall be stored in a clean and dry warehouse or plant building. The ambient temperature and humidity in the storage area shall meet the requirements of the product technical documents. When conditions do not permit, these equipment may be kept on site, and shall be provided with measures to prevent fire, water, moisture, dust, heat diffusion, mechanical damage and entry of small animals;
3 The storage temperature of the water-cooled generator and synchronous compensator shall not be lower than 5℃. Dry and clean compressed air shall be used to purge the residual moisture inside the water-cooled winding and keep its interior free of accumulated water;
4 During storage, the insulation resistance of stator and rotor windings of generator and synchronous compensator shall be measured regularly according to requirements of product technical documents; when storage conditions change, insulation resistance shall be measured in time; when it is found that the insulation resistance value drops obviously, the reason shall be found out and treatment measures shall be taken;
5 Before welding or cutting operations are carried out in the surrounding space of the stators of generator and synchronous compensator which are still in a closed state when transported to the site, fire prevention and isolation measures shall be taken, and the generator and synchronous compensator shall be inspected to be in good closed state;
6 The rotor shall be stored with the large teeth in the vertical direction and the retaining ring unstressed. During the storage period, the shaft journal, iron core, collector ring and other parts shall be inspected once a month to ensure no rust, and the rotor shall be rotated regularly according to the requirements of product technical documents.
4.2.3 The strength of building structures, lifting appliances and auxiliary hoisting facilities related to hoisting shall be calculated. The lifting appliances and auxiliary hoisting facilities shall be qualified upon load test and shall meet the hoisting requirements.
4.2.4 The stators of large generators and synchronous compensators shall be transported according to direction of placement, the passage shall be smooth, and the road carrying capacity shall meet the requirements.
