1.0.1 This code was formulated with a view to improving the construction level of boiler installation engineering, promoting technical progress, guaranteeing the construction quality and safety, and improving economic benefit.
1.0.2 This code is applicable to the construction and acceptance of the installation engineering of industrial and civil boilers, fixed steam boilers whose rated working pressure is less than or equal to 3.82MPa in district heating, fixed hot water boilers whose rated output water pressure is larger than 0.1MPa and organic heat transfer material boilers.
This code is not applicable for the construction and acceptance of installation engineering of cast iron boilers, vehicular and marine boilers, nuclear boilers and station boilers.
1.0.3 Before or during the boiler installation process, the installation must be ceased if the members in compression have quality problems which affect the safe handling and these problems shall be reported to the construction organizations.
1.0.4 Except for those specified in this code, those in the current national standards also shall be complied with for the construction and acceptance of boiler installation.
