1 Scope
This standard specifies the ordering content, classification, code, dimensions, shape, weight and permissible deviation, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking and quality certificate of hot-rolled H section steel and T section steel cut by hot-rolled H section steel.
This standard is applicable to hot-rolled H section steel (hereinafter referred to as "H section steel") and T section steel cut by hot-rolled H section steel.

According to this standard, the order contract shall contain the following technical content:
a) Product name and category;
b) Designation;
c) Number of this standard;
d) Specification;
e) Delivery length;
f) Weight and quantity;
g) Other specific requirements proposed by the demander, for instance: special specification requirement, special surface quality requirements, etc.
