1 Scope
This standard specifies the steam and water quality for power plant and steam-generating equipment during their normal operation and startup of shutdown (standby) plant.
This standard is applicable to power plant and steam-generating equipment with the main steam pressure of boiler not less than 3.8MPa (gauge pressure).

3 Terminologies and Definitions
For the purpose of this standard, the following terminologies and definitions apply.
3.1
Cation conductivity
The conductivity of water sample measured after being subjected to hydrogen strong acid cation exchange resin treatment.
3.2
Feed water system without copper alloys
The feed water system whose components and equipment (excluding condenser) is in contact with water and steam contains no copper or copper alloy materials.
