GB/T 12670-2008 Polypropylene (PP) resin
1 Scope
This standard specifies the classification and designation, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of polypropylene (PP) resin (PP resin).
This Standard applies to particulate propylene homopolymer (PP-H), propylene impact copolymer (PP-B) or propylene random copolymer (PP-R) containing additives prepared by polymerization of propylene or propylene/ethylene under the action of catalysts.
This Standard is not applicable to colored, filled, modified and mixed PP resin and masterbatch materials.

3 Classification and designation
The classification and designation of polypropylene (PP) resins shall comply with GB/T 2546.1-1999.
For the designation purpose, polypropylene resin of each grade shall have nominal values for tensile modulus of elasticity and notched impact strength of notch impact strength of simply supported beam.
Example: an injection-moulded (m) polypropylene homopolymer (PP-H) resin is natural color (N, which may be omitted) particles (G, which may be omitted) with the nominal value of tensile modulus of elasticity of 123 × 10 MPa (123), and the nominal value of notch impact strength of simply supported beam of 3.6 k/m2(04), the nominal value of the melt mass flow rate MFR of 1.5 g/10 min (015), and the test conditions are: temperature 230℃, under the load 2.16 kg (M, which may be omitted). The material is designated as follows:
