This standard is developed in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB/T 1527-2006 Drawn tube of copper and copper alloys and the following main technical changes have been made with respect to GB/T 1527-2006:
——The code expression method of alloy is added;
——Alloy designation and state are modified according to new national standard;
——The designation and corresponding requirements of high-copper TCr1 (C18200) are added;
——1/3 hard state products and corresponding requirements are deleted;
——The wall thickness range of pure copper tubes is modified from "0.5mm~15mm" to “0.3mm~20mm”;
——The length specification of tubes is modified; see Table 2;
——Partial mechanical property indexes of tubes are modified; see Tables 3 and 4;
——"The inspection method for overall dimension of tubes shall be carried out according to the requirements of GB/T 26303.1" is added;
——Chemical analysis methods specified in YS/T 482 and YS/T 483 are added;
——Tensile specimen is modified according to the requirements of GB/T 228.1-2010;
——The requirement - "Sampling methods shall be carried out according to the requirements of YS/T 668, and specimens for mechanical properties and technological properties shall be prepared according to the requirements of YS/T 815." is added.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage and quality certificate, and order (or contract) contents of drawn tube of copper and copper alloys.
This standard is applicable to round and rectangular (square) drawn tubes of copper and copper alloys for general purposes (hereafter referred to as "tubes").

3.1 Product classification
3.1.1 Designation, state and specification
The designation, state and specification of tubes shall meet those specified in Tables 1 and 2.

3.2 Chemical composition
The designation and chemical composition of tubes shall meet the requirements of corresponding designations specified in GB/T 5231. The As content of tubes with HAs65-0.04 designation is 0.03%~0.06%; the content of other elements is the same as that of tubes with H65 designation.
3.3 Overall dimension and permissible deviation
The dimension of tubes and their permissible deviation shall meet the requirements of GB/T 16866.
3.4 Mechanical properties
The longitudinal room-temperature mechanical properties of pure/high copper round tubes shall meet those specified in Table 3; room-temperature mechanical properties of pure/high copper rectangular (square) tubes shall be determined by the supplier and the purchaser through negotiation; the longitudinal room-temperature mechanical properties of brass and copper-nickel alloy tubes shall meet those specified in Table 4.
