1 Scope
This regulation specifies the safe requirements for the production (including design, manufacturing, installation, renovation and maintenance), storage, distribution and use of industrial oxygen and relative gases.
This regulation is applicable to the newly-built, extended and renovated units for oxygen and relative gases produced with cryogenic method.

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this standard, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1 Air separation plant
General term at least including air separation station, oxygen filling station or oxygen compressing station, outdoor process equipment and other relevant buildings and structures according to different conditions within a certain area.
3.2 Air separation station
A building which is mainly arranged with the process equipment for producing oxygen and other air products, including relative principal and auxiliary production shops.
3.3 Oxygen filling station
A building which is mainly arranged with the process equipment for compressing, filling, storing and transporting oxygen and other air products, including relative principal and auxiliary production shops.
3.4 Nitrogen compressor station
A building which is mainly arranged with the process equipment for compressing and transporting oxygen, including relative principal and auxiliary production shops.
3.5 Gasification station
A building which is mainly arranged with the cryogenic liquid system facilities for storing and transporting such gases as oxygen, nitrogen and argon to the user, including relative principal and auxiliary production shops.
3.6 Rare gas room
A building which is mainly arranged with the process equipment for rare gas purification, including relative principal and auxiliary production shops.
3.7 Hydrogen station
A building, which is assorted with the hydrogen required by argon production in the air separation plant (station and shop), and is mainly arranged with water electrolysis hydrogen plant, including relative principal and auxiliary production shops.
