1 Scope
This standard specifies requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage, quality certificate and order (or contract) content of copper and copper alloy strip.
This standard is applicable to wrought copper and copper alloy strip for general purposes (hereafter referred to as "strip").

3.1.2 Marking examples

3.2 Chemical composition
Chemical composition of the strip shall meet the corresponding requirements of GB/T 5231.
3.3 Overall dimension and its permissible deviation
Overall dimension of the strip and its permissible deviation shall meet the corresponding requirements of GB/T 17793. Any overall dimension and permissible deviation beyond the required values in GB/T 17793 shall be determined through negotiation between the supplier and the purchaser.
