This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, labeling, universal requirements and special requirements, test methods, test rules, marking, packing, transportation and storage of curtain wall for building.
This standard is applicable to the stick built curtain wall, unitized curtain wall and double-skin fascade that are adopted with glass, stone and artificial panel as the coating materials, and also is applicable to the full glass curtain wall and point supported glass curtain wall/The transparent roof, metal roof, decorative curtain wall and other building curtain walls may also made reference to this standard.
This standard is not applicable to the concrete slab curtain wall or the outer wall decoration system by directly sticking the panel up to the major structure, and it is not applicable to the dry-suspended outer wall system without supporting frame structure.
