GB/T 21551.3-2024 Antimicrobial and cleaning function of household and similar electrical appliances - Part 3: Particular requirements for air cleaner 1 Scope This document specifies the hygienic safety and functional requirements, as well as marking requirements, and corresponding test methods for household and similar air cleaner with antimicrobial, microbial reduction, and cleaning functions. This document is applicable to the R&D, manufacture and inspection of household and similar air cleaner (hereinafter referred to as "cleaner") with one or more functions, such as antimicrobial, preventing mildew, antiallergen, antivirus, microbial reduction, allergen reduction, virus reduction, and deodorization. Note: For those products that have the above functions which are not the main functions, such as dehumidifier, fan and humidifier, the relevant content of this document may also be referenced for the evaluation of such functions. This document may be referenced for the following products: ——small-sized cleaners, portable cleaners and cleaners for passenger car. This document is not applicable to: ——cleaners specially designed for industrial use; ——cleaners for the special environment and locations of corrosive and explosive gas (e.g. dust, vapor and gas); ——cleaners specially designed for medical use. 2 Normative references The following documents contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this document.
