3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this standard, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
Pillow
Textile which is sewed and filled with filling (such as textile fibre or foam material) and used for pillowing head, and may be divided into directly-used pillow and covered pillow.
3.2
Cushion
Textile which is sewed and filled with filling (such as textile fibre or foam material) and used for supporting or buffering, such as back cushion, seat cushion and mattress, and may be divided into directly-used cushion and covered cushion.
3.3
Filling
Material which has a certain elasticity and is filled between two layers of textiles for supporting.
3.4
Pillowslip
Protective coat that the pillow and cushion may be removed, which may be subjected to dry cleaning or water washing.
4 Requirements
4.1 The product is divided into high-class product, first-class product and qualified product.
4.2 The product quality is divided into inherent quality, appearance quality, process quality, etc.
4.3 The inherent quality of the product covers fibre content deviation, shell fabric breaking force, water-washing dimensional change ratio, dry-cleaning dimensional change ratio, shell fabric pilling property and colour fastness, and the inherent quality requirements are detailed in Table 1.
