Electric motorcycles and electric mopeds - Power performance - Test method
1 Scope
This standard specifies the test methods for maximum speed, acceleration performance and uphill ability of electric motorcycles and electric mopeds.
It is applicable to the dynamic performance test of pure electric motorcycles and electric mopeds (unless otherwise specified, hereinafter referred to as “electric motorcycles”).

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 5359.1 and GB/T 19596 and the following apply.
3.1
maximum speed
V200
speed of electric motorcycle passing the distance of 200 m in the shortest time
3.2
maximum 10 minutes speed
V10
maximum average speed of electric motorcycle for 10 minutes
4 Test conditions
4.1 Test vehicle
4.1.1 The power battery for test vehicle shall be new power battery and be fully charged according to the charging procedures specified by the manufacturer. In case the manufacturer does not specify the charging procedures, the battery shall be charged in accordance with the requirements of GB/T 18385-2005, 5.1.1 to 5.1.3. The test vehicle with the battery installed on it shall travel at least 300 km within 10 d before the test, as specified by the manufacturer.
4.1.2 The mechanical moving parts of test vehicle shall be lubricated in accordance with the specifications of the manufacturer.
