1 Scope
This standard specifies the term, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, appearance, marking and supply requirements for cryogenic emergency shutoff valve (hereinafter referred to as emergency shut-off valve).
This standard is applicable to the gas and liquid with nominal dimension of DN 15 to DN 200, nominal pressure of PN 16 to 63, operating temperature of -196℃ to -29℃ emergency shut-off temperature of 70℃ ± 5℃, and with oxygen, nitrogen, argon, natural gas, ethylene (O2, N2, Ar, CNG, C2H4), etc. as the cryogenic media.
