This standard specifies chemical composition, mechanical performance, technical requirements and test and inspection of stainless steel castings for general purpose industrial valves.
This standard is applicable to such stainless steel castings as pressure-bearing valves, flange and pipe fittings used in high temperature and corrosive environment.
