This standard replaces GB 25036-2010 Children's canvas rubber footwear (shoes). In addition to structural adjustment and editorial changes, the following main technical changes have been made with respect to GB 25036-2010:
a) "Terms and definitions" is changed (see Clause 3; Clause 3 of Edition 2010);
b) The definition of "base thickness" as well as the requirements and test methods for outsole thickness are deleted (see 3.3, 5.5 and 6.3.6 of Edition 2010);
c) "Classification" content is changed (see Clause 4; Clause 4 of Edition 2010);
d) The requirements for "shoe sizes and models" are changed (see 5.1; 5.1 of Edition 2010);
e) The requirements and test methods for abrasion resistance are changed (see Table 1 and 6.1.3; Table 3 and 6.3.3 of Edition 2010);
f) The requirements and test methods for hardness of cellular sole are added (see Table 1 and 6.1.4);
g) The requirements and test methods for outsole slip performance are added (see Table 1 and 6.1.5);
h) "Adhesive strength between foxing strip and upper" is changed to "adhesion strength between foxing strip and upper" and test method is changed (see Table 1 and 6.1.6, Table 3 and 6.3.5 of Edition 2010);

k) The requirements and test methods for physical safety performance are changed (see 5.4 and 6.3; Table 2 and 6.2 of Edition 2010);
l) The health and safety performance item and technical requirements are deleted (see Table 1 of Edition 2010);
m) The "warning sign" is added (see Clause 7);
n) The requirements for inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage are changed (see Clause 8; Clause 7 of Edition 2010);
o) Annexes A and B are deleted (see Annexes A and B of Edition 2010).

1 Scope
This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements, test methods as well as inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of children's canvas rubber footwear.
This standard is applicable to the footwear made of rubber or other elastomers as the main material of the sole and fabric, other synthetic or natural materials as the main material of the upper and intended for use by toddlers and children.

toddler's canvas rubber footwear
canvas rubber footwear for use by toddlers aged 36 months and below (usually with shoe size not greater than 170)
4 Classification
4.1 The products are classified into the following two categories by the wearers:
——Class A: toddler's canvas rubber footwear;
——Class B: Children's canvas rubber footwear other than toddler's canvas rubber footwear.
4.2 Products are classified into solid soles and cellular soles according to the outsole material.
5 Technical requirements
5.1 Shoe size and model
It shall comply with GB/T 3293.1.
5.2 Physical performance
Physical performance shall meet those specified in Table 1.
