1 Scope
This standard specifies the designation method, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, rust prevention and packaging and the like of needle roller and cage assemblies (hereinafter referred to as "assemblies") for the crank pin and piston pin of connecting rod in motorcycle engine.
This standard is applicable to assemblies for motorcycle connecting rod, and it is also applicable to the production, inspection and acceptance of the assemblies for connecting rods of air compressors and other crank and connecting rod mechanisms. This standard is not applicable to the assemblies for connecting rods of the motorcycles for special purpose (like racing motorcycle and off-road motorcycle).
