1 Scope
This standard specifies technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, label, operation instruction as well as packaging, transportation and storage of pitch system of grid-connected wind turbine generator system.
This standard is applicable to pitch system used for grid-connected horizontal axis (three-blade wind rotor) wind turbine generator system; pitch shall be of hydraulically-driven mode or electrically-driven mode.

Device controlling and adjusting blade pitch angle of wind turbine generator system. It mainly includes pitch control device, pitch drive equipment, backup power supply, pitch actuating equipment, pitch lubricating device and pitch detection device.
