This standard is developed in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB/T 3227-2008 Assembly tools for screws and nuts - Driving squares for power socket tools, with the following main technical changes made:
——The figure and dimensions of circlip positioning (K-shaped) male square are added (see Figure 3 and Table 2);
——The figure and dimensions of L-shaped square hole matching circlip positioning (K-shaped) male square are added (see Figure 7 and Table 4).
This standard has been redrafted and modified in relation to ISO 1174-2:1996 Assembly tools for screws and nuts - Driving squares - Part 2: Driving squares for power socket tools.
Structural adjustments have been made to this standard with respect to ISO 1174-2:1996. Annex A lists a comparison of between this standard and ISO 1174-2:1996 in terms of clause numbers.
This standard includes technical differences with respect to ISO 1174-2:1996. The clauses and subclauses concerned are identified by a vertical single line (|) located in the blank on its external margin of the page. These technical differences and reasons are listed in Annex B.
For the convenience of application, the following editorial modifications are made in this standard:
——The standard name is modified to be consistent with the existing standard series;
——The informative Annex A to the international standard is deleted.
This standard was proposed by China Machinery Industry Federation.
This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee 173 on Drilling Machinery and Pneumatic Tool of Standardization Administration of China.
The previous editions of the standard are as follows:
