1 Scope
This standard specifies terms and definitions, classification and mark, general requirements, requirements, test methods, inspection rules as well as marking, packaging, transport and storage of air cleaner for ventilation system.
This standard is applicable to production and inspection of air cleaner used for ventilation and air conditioning systems.

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
air cleaner for ventilation system
device that is possessed of a certain capacity to remove air pollutants in the air from ventilation system
3.2
air pollutants
substance in the air which has harmful influence on human body or environment, including particulate matters, gaseous pollutants, microorganism and other pollutants
3.3
inhalable particulate matter (PM10)
particulate matter in ambient air whose aerodynamic equivalent diameter is less than or equal to 10μm
3.4
fine particulate matter (PM2.5)
particulate matter in ambient air whose aerodynamic equivalent diameter is less than or equal to 2.5μm
3.5
rated air flow
air flow designed to be treated by air cleaner in unit time in the specified state
3.6
cleaning efficiency
capacity of air cleaner for removing air pollutant passing the air cleaner by once at rated air flow, i.e. the ratio of the concentration difference between pollutants in the air at inlet and those at outlet of the air cleaner to the concentration of pollutant in the air at inlet
3.7
initial resistance
static pressure loss of non-powered air cleaner operating at rated air flow in initial state
3.8
final resistance
specified resistance value of air cleaner raised and reached due to standard synthetic dust collection at rated air flow, which is the index used to characterize the performance of isolated non-powered air cleaner

dust holding capacity
total mass of standard synthetic dust collected by air cleaner reaching final resistance at rated air flow, which is the index used to characterize the performance of isolated non-powered air cleaner

rated power
input power of air cleaner working at rated air flow and wind pressure in initial state

cleaning energy efficiency
ratio of clean ventilation quantity to rated power when powered air cleaner operates at rated air flow and wind pressure
Note: clean ventilation quantity is the product of rated air flow and cleaning efficiency.
4 Classification and Mark
4.1 Classification
4.1.1 Classified by object it acts on
Air cleaner may be classified, by object on which it acts, into particulate matter type, gaseous pollutant type and microorganism type, with the codes of KL, QT and WS respectively.
4.1.2 Classified by cleaning efficiency
4.1.2.1 Air cleaner may be classified by the efficiency for cleaning the particulate matters into Grade A, Grade B, Grade C and Grade D air cleaners, with the efficiency of Grade A air cleaner being highest.
4.1.2.2 Air cleaner may be classified by the efficiency for cleaning the gaseous pollutants into Grade A, Grade B and Grade C air cleaners, with the efficiency of Grade A air cleaner being highest.
4.1.2.3 Air cleaner may be classified by the efficiency for cleaning the microorganism into Grade A, Grade B, Grade C and Grade D air cleaners, with the efficiency of Grade A air cleaner being highest.
4.1.3 Classified by whether it possesses fan
Air cleaner may be classified by whether it is with self-contained fan into non-powered and powered air cleaners, with the codes of WD and YD respectively.
4.2 Mark
Air cleaner shall be marked as follows:
Example 1:
Non-powered particulate matter type air cleaner with cleaning efficiency of Grade A and rated air flow of 1,500 m3/h is marked as TKJ-(KL-A)-1500-WD.
Example 2:
Powered gaseous pollutant type air cleaner with cleaning efficiency of Grade B and rated air flow of 1,000 m3/h is marked as TKJ-(QT-B)-1000-YD.
Example 3:
Combined non-powered air cleaner with PM cleaning efficiency of Grade A, gaseous pollutant cleaning efficiency of Grade B, microorganism cleaning efficiency of Grade C and rated air flow of 1,500m3/h is marked as TKJ-(KL-A/QT-B/WS-C)-1500-WD.
5 General Requirements
5.1 Basic requirements
5.1.1 As for air cleaner, the rated voltage of single phase shall not be greater than 250 V, the rated voltage of three phases shall not be greater than 480 V and rated frequency shall be 50Hz.
5.1.2 As for air cleaner, power-off protection measures shall be taken to ensure the internal devices are powered off when the device is opened for repair or maintenance.
5.1.3 The electrical shock protection of air cleaner shall meet the relevant requirements of GB 4706.1.
5.1.4 The environmental protection and fireproof performances of air cleaner shall meet the requirements of the environment in which it is used.
5.2 Material
Filtering material, binder, sealant, sealing gasket, protective net, frame and the like adopted for air cleaner shall meet the relevant requirements of GB/T 14295 and GB/T 13554.
5.3 Structure
5.3.1 Frame or support shall possess sufficient strength and rigidity and be able to withstand weight and pressure caused by installation, operation or repair.
5.3.2 Sealing shall be carried out between frame and device module as well as between modules.
5.3.3 It shall be convenient to disassemble and assemble the parts of air cleaner which are cleanable and replaceable.
6 Requirements
6.1 Appearance
6.1.1 The surface of air cleaner shall be smooth and clean, without scratch, rust stain, indentation or damage.
6.1.2 The sprayed coating shall be uniform, without flow mark, bubble or scaling.
6.1.3 Parts shall be fastened without looseness; components like filtering material, divider, protective net, etc. shall be free from deformation; sealing gasket shall not get loose.
6.1.4 Frame or support shall not be concavo convex, twisted or damaged, and its appearance shall be intact.
6.1.5 Text as well as graphic symbol mark stating the functions shall be correct, legible, upright and firm.
6.1.6 Electrical safety warning and electric terminal wiring diagram shall be indicated on the device enclosure.
6.2 Cleaning efficiency
The efficiency of air cleaner for cleaning air pollutants at rated air flow in initial state shall be in accordance with those specified in Table l, and the measured value shall not be less than 95% of the nominal value.

4.1 Classification
4.1.1 Classified by object it acts on
