3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 6809.1~GB/T 6809.9, GB/T 26989 apply.
4 Disassembly, classification and cleaning
4.1 Disassembly
4.1.1 The engine shall be completely disassembled for further classification, disassembly and remanufacturing.
4.1.2 The engines shall be disassembled in accordance with GB/T 28675.
4.1.3 Preliminarily judge whether the main components are suitable for remanufacturing during disassembly.
4.2 Classification
4.2.1 The engines shall be classified in accordance with GB/T 28676.
4.2.2 During the remanufacturing process, new components shall be adopted for the following parts: piston ring, cylinder liner, main bearing, hydraulic tappet, connecting rod big end bearing and bolt, cylinder head bolt, flywheel bolt, thrust plate or thrust bearing, oil seal, filter element assembly (filter assembly), timing belt or chain, various rubber parts and sealing elements, etc.
4.3 Cleaning
4.3.1 The disassembled components shall be cleaned in accordance with GB/T 28677.
4.3.2 Test and defect evaluation need to be carried out for the components during the cleaning process of the new components, to judge whether they meet the technical requirements for remanufacturing drawings.
5 Inspection and restoration
5.1 General
The parameters of main components of engine shall be inspected in accordance with the technical requirements of remanufacturing drawings, and those failing to meet the requirements shall be restored or new ones shall be adopted.
5.2 Cylinder block
5.2.1 After restoring by means of re-boring, re-inlaying cylinder liner, surface machining or honing, etc., check the tightness.
5.2.2 Inspect the damage, size and straightness of the main bearing seat. Ensure the matching accuracy with new bearings.
5.2.3 Inspect the position of thrust bearing.
5.2.4 Inspect the flatness and damage of the upper plane of the cylinder block, and the perpendicularity between the crankshaft center hole axis and the cylinder hole axis.
5.3 Cylinder head assembly
5.3.1 Inspect the flatness of the joint surface between the cylinder head and the cylinder block and the total thickness of the cylinder head, clean up the scale and rust in the waterway, and check the tightness.
5.3.2 Inspect the distortion and damage degree of the cam mounting joint surface.
5.3.3 Inspect the coaxiality, ellipticity, straightness and taper of the shaft hole of the camshaft without bushing.
5.3.4 Inspect the damage and wear of the bearing seat, restore it or select bearings with new dimensions to match if necessary.
5.3.5 Inspect the damage and wear of the follower frame when the cam follower runs.
5.3.6 Inspect the wear of valve tappets/lifters.
5.3.7 Measure the perpendicularity, free length, spring stiffness and compression length of valve spring.
5.3.8 Inspect the wear and damage of the valve guide, and the coaxiality and surface roughness of the guide.
