3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this standard, the following terms and definitions given in GB/T 5823 and GB/T 5907.1 and the following apply.
3.1
fire-resistant integrity of windows and doors
ability of building windows and doors, with a certain side of exposed to fire, to prevent the penetration of flame and hot gas or to prevent flame from appearing on the unexposed side within a certain period of time under the test conditions specified in this standard
3.2
outside fire curve
standard curve for simulating time-temperature relationship of fire in outdoor space
3.3
inside fire curve
standard curve for simulating time-temperature relationship of fire in indoor space
3.4
fire-resistant time
fire resistance limit of test piece to maintain integrity in the fire integrity test of windows and doors
4 Classification
4.1 Classification index
The fire-resistant integrity of building windows and doors is expressed by E, and the fire-resistant time is taken as the classification index; the fire-resistant time is expressed by t in min.
4.2 Classification requirements
The fire-resistant integrity of building windows and doors shall be classified by indoor and outdoor exposed side, with indoor side indicated by "i" and outdoor side indicated by "o". See Table 1 for classification and index values.

Classification Code
Exposed side Indoor side E30(i) E60(i)
Outdoor side E30(o) E60(o)
Fire-resistant time (t)/min 30 ≤ t < 60 t ≥ 60
5 Test device
5.1 Test furnace
The test furnace shall meet the requirements of 5.2 of GB/T 9978.1-2008 and the following:
a) The clearance dimension of the installation opening of the test piece shall not be less than 3000 mm × 3000 mm; when the dimension of the test piece is smaller than the installation opening, the test piece shall be installed in the support frame and firmly installed in the opening;
b) It shall be able to set and control the temperature in the furnace to meet the requirements of 7.1;
c) It shall be able to control and monitor the pressure of hot flue gas in the furnace to meet the requirements of 7.2.
