1 Scope
This document specifies the quality requirements, test methods, quality inspection and judgment of children's furniture.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.

children's furniture
furniture designed or intended for used by children under the age of 3 to 14

driving mechanism
mechanism of connections used for parts of furniture, in which the movement of at least one connected part is not driven by manpower
Example: Electric or mechanical drive mechanism.

folding mechanism
mechanism of connection by hinges or rotary shafts, which may produce extrusion and shearing during operation

hazardous projection
accessible protruding parts that may cause injury and/or danger during use

inspection
activity of measuring, inspecting, testing or measuring one or more characteristics of a product or service and comparing them with specified requirements in order to determine whether the characteristics of the product or service are acceptable

supervision and inspection carried out by inspectors at the production site in a certain time interval on the product quality and processing technology in a relevant process

end inspection
Inspection on a batch of products completed in a certain procedure

3.16
quality consistency inspection
final inspection, ex-factory inspection or acceptance inspection carried out by the quality inspection department of the enterprise on the products of a production line that pass batch-by-batch inspection before warehousing, which aims to check whether the continuous stability of product quality can be guaranteed in the production process and prevent unacceptable products from being delivered to users

4 Quality requirements
4.1 Requirements on main functional dimensions
The main functional dimensions of the products shall meet the requirements specified in Table 1. When a table and a chair are a suite, the height of the table top and seat are allowed to exceed the upper limit of the required dimension range in Table 1 on the premise of that they meet the requirements in the matching height difference between the middle headroom height and the seat surfaces of the table and chair.

4 Quality requirements
