This is Part 2 of GB/T 4437.
This part is developed in accordance with the rules specified in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This part replaces GB/T 4437.2-2003 Aluminum and Aluminum Alloy Extruded Tubes—Part 2: Seam Tubes. In addition to editorial changes, the following technical changes have been made with respect to GB/T 4437.2 -2003.

1 Scope
This part of GB/T 4437 specifies requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation, storage and quality certificates and the contents of order (or contract) for aluminum and aluminum alloy extruded tubes produced by shunt single split mold or bridge-type single split mold.
This part is applicable to shunt single split mold or bridge type single split mold produced by aluminum and aluminum alloy seamed round tube, rectangular tube and regular polygon pipe (hereinafter referred to as tube).
