1 Scope
This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules as well as marking, packaging, transportation, storage and safety of sulphuric acid for industrial use.
This standard is applicable to sulphuric acid for industrial use prepared from pyrite, sulfur, smelting flue gas or other sulfur-containing materials.

3 Product classification
Sulphuric acid for industrial use is classified into concentrated sulphuric acid and fuming sulphuric acid.
4 Requirements
Concentrated sulphuric acid shall meet the requirements of Table 1 and fuming sulphuric acid shall meet the requirements of Table 2.
