1 Scope
This standard specifies the classification and designation, appearance and color, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, as well as marking, packaging, transport and storage of plasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC) compounds for wire and cable (hereinafter referred to as PVC cable materials).
This standard is applicable to plasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC) compounds for wire and cable made from PVC resin with additives such as plasticizer and stabilizer through mixing, plasticizing and granulating.
