Test method for tyre valve - Part 6: Test method for core
1 Scope
This document specifies the test equipment, instruments, installation, air-tightness test, torque test, fatigue test, ventilation rate test, corrosion resistance test, connection test between swivel and plug, opening pressure test and pin head position measurement of tyre cores (hereinafter referred to as “cores”).
This document is applicable to the test for tyre valve cores of passenger cars, trucks, industrial trucks, construction machinery, tractors, agricultural and forestry machinery, motorcycles, electric vehicles and cycles.
This document is not applicable to the core test for aircraft tyres.
