Environment test methods for spacecraft unit - Part 4: Magnetic test
1 Scope
This part specifies the test items and purposes, laboratory environment, test requirements, test procedures, test interruption and handling, test documents, etc. of the magnetic test of spacecraft unit-level products.
This part is applicable to the magnetic test of spacecraft unit-level products in zero magnetic field environment. It may be referred to by the magnetic test of spacecraft parts and components.
2 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this part, the following terms and definitions apply.

zero magnetic field
magnetic field with the magnetic induction intensity less than 5nT in the center of the homogeneous space of the main coil

stray magnetic field
magnetic field existing when the test piece is working in the zero magnetic field

remanent magnetic field

3.1 Test items

d) demagnetizing test;

3.2 Test purposes

b) magnetic field measurement: to measure the magnetic field distribution around the test piece or the remanent magnetic field and stray magnetic field at a certain point, and evaluate whether they meet the design requirements;
c) magnetizing test: to evaluate the change of remanent magnetic moment or remanent magnetic field after the test piece is magnetized by external magnetic field;
d) demagnetizing test: to eliminate the magnetic moment or magnetic field increased when the test piece is magnetized by the external magnetic field;
