Ethyl methyl carbonate for industrial use
Warning: Users of this standard shall be experienced in normal laboratory practicing. This standard does not purport to address all of the safety problems, if any, associated with its use. It is the responsibility of the user to establish appropriate safety and health practices and to ensure compliance with any national regulatory conditions.
1 Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage as well as safety of ethyl methyl carbonate for industrial use.
This standard is applicable to ethyl methyl carbonate for industrial use produced from dimethyl carbonate and ethanol.
The electronic grade and high-purity grade products in this standard are mainly used for lithium battery electrolytes, and the guaranteed grade products are mainly used for industrial organic synthesis and solvents.
Molecular formula: C4H8O3
