1 Scope
This standard specifies the definitions, designation method, structural type, technical requirements, inspection rules and test methods of tensioner and idler bearings for automotive engine (hereinafter referred to as bearings) and of tensioner and idler units (hereinafter referred to as units).
This standard is applicable to the production and inspection of bearing manufacturers and the customer acceptance.
