1 Scope
This part establishes measuring criteria for dimension and running accuracy of rolling bearings so as to outline fundamentals for the used measuring and gauging principles and explain definitions in accordance with GB/T 4199-2003 and GB/T 6930-2002.
Measuring and gauging methods specified in this part are different from each other and those provided in it is also not the only explanation. Considering other applicable measuring and gauging methods and with technical advance, more convenient methods will be available. Therefore, in this part, it is not limited to have to adopt certain special method. However, in case of any dispute, it shall be in accordance with methods specified in this part.
This part is applicable to bearing measurement, gauging and acceptance by manufacturers and orderers.
