1 Scope
1.1 This Part specifies the structural types, series parameters and dimensions, permissible loads, materials, as well as manufacturing technology requirements of the leg supports (hereinafter referred to as supports) of the vertical steel vessels (hereinafter referred to as vessels).
1.2 This Part is applicable to the vessels directly installed on the rigid subgrade and meeting the following conditions:
a) Nominal diameter is DN400mm~1600mm;
b) Ratio of cylinder tangent length L to nominal diameter DN is not greater than 5;
c) Total height of vessel H1: not greater than 5000mm for the angle strut and steel pipe strut; not greater than 8000mm for the H-shaped steel strut;
d) Design temperature: t=200℃;
e) Design wind velocity pressure: q0=800 Pa, ground roughness is Category A;
f) Design seismic intensity: Intensity 8 (Category II site soil); design basic seismic acceleration: 0.2g.
1.3 This Part is not applicable to the vessels directly and rigidly connected with the machinery equipment generating pulsating loads through pipelines.
