Bathtub and shower faucets
1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, designation and marks, materials, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, as well as marking, packaging, transportation and storage of bathtub and shower faucets (hereinafter referred to as “faucets”).
This standard is applicable to all kinds of bathtub and shower faucets with nominal diameters DN 15 and DN 20, nominal pressures not greater than 1.0 MPa, installed in cold and hot water supply pipelines in buildings, and medium temperatures not greater than 90°C.

For the purposes of this standard, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1 bathtub faucets
device mounted on a vertical or horizontal wallboard that supplies water to a bathtub by opening and closing the water medium and controlling the outlet water flow and water temperature
3.2 shower faucets
device mounted on a vertical wallboard to make water flow through a fixed or hand-held shower by opening and closing the water medium and controlling the outlet water flow and
