4 Type dividing
4.1 The commercial motor-vehicles of passenger transport are divided into two categories: buses and passenger cars.
4.2 Buses are divided into four types according to their length, including extra-large, large, medium and mini-size, as shown in Table 1.

6 Content of class rating
6.1 The main contents of class rating for bus include: bus construction, chassis, configuration, active safety, power performance, bus internal noise and air conditioning and control, etc.
6.2 The main contents of class rating for passenger car include: wheelbase, configuration, power performance, air conditioning and control, fire extinguisher, satellite positioning system, etc.
7 Rules for class rating
7.1 Necessary conditions
All the rating indexes specified in Clause 8 is necessary conditions.
7.2 Class rating for new commercial motor-vehicles of passenger transport
The new commercial motor-vehicles of passenger transport refer to the new product developed by the production enterprise or the imported vehicles, on the basis of the technical documents (import inspection documents) and the real vehicle inspection results, the class rating shall be conducted in accordance with Clause 8.
7.3 Class verification of commercial motor-vehicles of passenger transport in use
7.3.1 Buses that meet the relevant regulations of GB 18565 after inspection and testing are capable of conducting the corresponding class verification.
7.3.2 Buses that meet the relevant regulations for Class I vehicles in GB 18565 after inspection and testing are capable of conducting the corresponding high level bus verification.
7.3.3 According to the requirements of 7.3.1 and 7.3.2, inspect the real vehicle inspection results of existing technical classes and facilities of vehicles in accordance with the regulations of Clause 8, and conduct class verification.
7.3.4 Passenger cars shall comply with the requirements of GB 7258.
7.3.5 The rated commercial motor-vehicles of passenger transport in use shall be re-rated at the time of ownership transfer.
