Limits and measurement methods of fuel consumption for commercial vehicle for passenger transportation
1 Scope
This standard specifies the limits and measurement methods of fuel consumption for commercial vehicle for passenger transportation.
This standard is applicable to commercial vehicles for passenger transportation with diesel or gasoline as single fuel and with a maximum total mass exceeding 3,500 kg.
2 Normative references
The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this standard. For dated references, only the edition cited applies. For undated references, the latest edition (including any amendment) applies.

For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in CB/T 3730.1, GB/T 3730.2, CB/T 3730.3 and JT/T 325 and the following apply.
4 Limits of fuel consumption
The limits of fuel consumption for commercial vehicle for passenger transportation is expressed by equivalent fuel consumption index. See Table 1 for the limits of fuel consumption for diesel-fueled commercial vehicle for passenger transportation. The limits of fuel consumption for gasoline-fueled commercial vehicle for passenger transportation is 1.15 times of those for gasoline-fueled commercial vehicle for passenger transportation of the same vehicle length (the value is rounded to one decimal place).
