3 Models
Models are classified according to the mechanical performance and heat treatment state of flux-wire combined deposited metal in this part.
The flux-wire combination is expressed with its code. The complete model is "Fxxx-Exxx"; thereinto, the initial "F" expresses flux; the first digit following "F" expresses the minimum tensile strength of deposited metal; the subsequent letters express the state of test piece; "A" expresses as welded; "P" expresses post-weld heat treatment state; the third digit expresses the lowest test temperature of deposited metal where the impact energy is not less than 27J; those following "-" express the category or designation of the adopted welding wire.
In this part, welding wire models include EM12K and EH12K, equivalent to EM12K and EH12K in AWS 5.17.
The welding material manufacturer shall assess the welding material in this part according to the requirements of NB/T 20002.4.
