1 Scope
This standard specifies the dimension, shape, technical requirements, inspection and testing, as well as package, mark and inspection documents of continuously hot-rolled steel sheet and strip for automobile structural use.
This standard is applicable to the continuously hot-rolled steel strip of carbon and micro-alloyed steel with good cold-forming performance produced by Baoshan iron and steel Co., Ltd., as well as the steel sheet cut horizontally and the slit wide strip cut vertically therefrom, hereinafter referred to as steel sheet and strip. The products are used for the manufacturing of automobile girders, crossbeams, roll-forming wheels, automobile transmission shaft pipes, automobile axle housings and other structures.
