1 Scope
This standard specifies product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transport and storage of daily rainproof (poncho and raincoat).
This standard is applicable to ponchos and raincoats processed by adopting plastic, waterproof fabric, etc. as main materials.
This standard is not applicable to disposable ponchos or raincoats.

3 Product Classification
3.1 Products are mainly classified into textile composites and plastic types by material.
3.2 Products are classified into poncho, integrated raincoat and split raincoat by wearing type.
4 Requirements
4.1 Appearance
Products shall be clean, free from stain, broken or cracking phenomena, with clear printing.
4.2 Accessories
4.2.1 Zipper
Zipper shall be flat and smooth with favorable engagement and shall be free from tooth missing and damage.
4.2.2 Button
The button is firm and fit properly and the button positions shall be symmetrical.
4.2.3 Heat sealing strip
Heat sealing is flat and smooth, and the heat sealing strip shall not be less than 16mm in width after adhesion.
4.3 Sewing
The sewing stitching is straight, stitches are uniform and regular, tightness of upper and lower thread is suitable, free from defects like broken stitching or split stitching, the quantity of stitches with length density less than 5cm is at least 13.
4.4 Dimension deviation and mutual deviation
4.4.1 Dimensions of the parts specified in Table 1 shall be indicated.
4.4.2 The dimension deviation of parts of the product shall be in accordance with those specified in Table 1.

4.5 Breaking force of fabric
The breaking force of textile composites shall not be less than 200N; the tension breaking force of plastic material shall not be less than 40N.
4.6 Bonding intensity
4.6.1 Bonding force of heat sealing strip
Heat sealing is firm and the bonding force shall not be less than 4.5N.
4.6.2 Bonding force of plastic joint
The bonding force shall not be less than 35N or the joint is free from breaking within the range of deformation limit.
4.7 Color fastness
4.7.1 Color fastness of textile composites
Color fastness of textile composites to water shall not be inferior to Grade 3 specified in GB/T 250-2008 and GB/T 251-2008.
4.7.2 Color fastness of plastic material
Plastic material shall be free from fading.
4.8 Water resistance
The water-pressure resistance of textile composites shall not be less than 20kPa.
4.9 Aging resistance
4.9.1 Under high temperature, the product shall be free from adhesion, discoloration or water wave wrinkle.
4.9.2 Under low temperature, the product shall be free from crack.
4.10 Safety requirements of textile composites
Formaldehyde content and pH shall meet the requirements of Type C, GB 18401-2010; decomposable carcinogenic aromatic amine dyes shall meet those specified in GB 18401-2010.
