1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of automobile connector.
This standard is applicable to single-wire and multi-wire connector in wire harness and separate connector on automobile for maintenance.

a kind of metal dielectric for signal transmission and energy conduction, which may be classified into male terminal and female terminal

4 Requirements
4.1 Connectors shall meet the requirements of this standard and be manufactured according to the drawings and technical documents approved by established procedures.
4.2 The requirements and quality grading of connector shall be in accordance with those specified in Table 1. As for quality grade, there are Grades A, B and C, in which Grade A is the most important quality grade, Grade B is the sub-important one and Grade C is general one.
