Clothes with Fillings
1 Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of clothes with fillings.
This standard is applicable to mass-produced clothes with fillings taking woven with textile machine as main fabric, various natural fiber, chemical fiber and their blends as filling, or animal fur, fake fur and the like as lining or detachable lining.
This standard is not applicable to the products containing down and feather in filling.
This standard is not applicable to clothes for infants aged 36 months and below.

3 Requirements
3.1 Instructions for use
Instructions for use shall be in accordance with those specified in GB 5296.4 and GB 31701.
3.2 Size specification
3.2.1 Size designation shall be in accordance with those specified in GB/T 1335 (all parts).
3.2.2 The specification of main parts is designed at discretion according to the relevant requirements of GB/T 1335 (all parts).
3.3 Raw materials
3.3.1 Fabric
Fabrics conforming to the quality requirement of this standard are selected according to the relevant national standards regarding textile fabrics.
3.3.2 Lining
Lining suitable for the applied fabric and conforming to the quality requirements of this standard shall be adopted. Air-proof film shall not be used.
3.3.3 Filling and materials of detachable lining
Various natural fiber, chemical fiber and their blends with certain warmth retention property as well as animal fur and fake fur shall be selected and their quality shall meet the requirements of relevant laws and regulations, compulsory standards and relevant standards.
3.3.4 Accessories
3.3.4.1 Interlining, shoulder pad, decorative lace and bagging
Interlining, shoulder pad, decorative lace and bagging suitable to the performance of the used fabric and lining shall be adopted and their quality shall meet the requirements of this standard.
3.3.4.2 Suture, drawstring and cord, elastic ribbon
Suture, drawstrings and cords, elastic ribbon (expect ornamental thread and belt) suitable to the performance of the used fabric, lining and accessories shall be adopted.
3.3.5 Button, zipper and other accessories
Button (except ornamental button), zipper and other accessories suitable for the used fabric shall be adopted. The button, ornamental button, zipper and other accessories shall be smooth on surface and free from burr, damage, defects and accessible sharp tip or edge. Zippers shall be good in meshing and run smoothly.
Note: Accessible sharp tip or edge refers to any sharp edge or tip on finished product that may cause harm to human skin under normal wearing.
3.4 Wrap and weft yarn direction
The front hem shall not upwarp; the yarn skewness degree of back, sleeve and front and rear trousers (skirt) pieces shall not be greater than 3%; the yarn skewness degree of yarn-dyed stripe and plaid shall not be greater than 2.5% (except for special design).
3.5 Strip matching and plaid matching
3.5.1 Fabric with obvious stripes and plaids of 1.0cm or above shall be in accordance with those specified in Table 1.

Left and right front The strips are smooth and straight, plaids shall match each other horizontally and the mutual deviation shall not be greater than 0.3. If the sizes of strip and plaid are different, they shall be subject to the upper part of one third of the clothes length.
Pocket, pocket flap and bodice Strips shall match with each other, plaids shall match with each other and the mutual deviation shall not be greater than 0.3. If the sizes of strip and plaid are different, they shall be subject to the center of the front of pocket.
Collar point The strips are symmetrical and the mutual deviation shall not be greater than 0.3. For shadow strips and plaids, visible strips and plaids shall prevail.
Sleeve The two sleeves shall be smooth and straight, strip and plaid shall be symmetrical by the sleeve cap and the mutual deviation shall not be greater than 1.0. ——
Side seam of trouser and skirt Plaids shall match with each other horizontally at the positions 10.0 below the side seam pocket mouth, with mutual deviation not greater than 0.5. ——
Front/back crotch seams Strip and plaid shall be symmetrical, plaids shall match with each other horizontally and the mutual deviation shall not be greater than 0.5. ——

3.5.2 The grain direction of nip-up and down pile and checkerboard weave material is consistent all over the body, except for special design.
3.5.3 Fabrics with special pattern shall be subjected to the main drawing and the grain direction of the whole body shall be consistent.
3.6 Colour difference
3.6.1 The colour difference of top collar and pocket from the bodice shall be higher than Grade 4, that of side seams of trouser and skirt shall be higher than Grade 4 as well and that of other surface parts shall not be lower than Grade 4.
3.6.2 The colour difference influenced by interlining or caused by multilayer materials shall not be lower than Grades 3-4 (except for special design).
3.6.3 The colour difference between tops and bottoms of suits shall not be lower than Grade 4.
3.7 Appearance defects
The defect permissibility for each part of finished product shall be in accordance with those specified in Table 2. The part classification of finished product is detailed in Figure 1. Only one kind of defect within permissibility is allowed at each part. The defects not covered in this standard shall be in accordance with the requirements for similar ones in Table 2 based on their forms.

3.8 Sewing
3.8.1 Stitch length density shall be in accordance with those specified in Table 3, except for special design.

3.8.2 The stitching of all parts shall be flat, smooth, straight, regular and firm, with uniform stitches. Upper and lower threads are suitable in tightness and free from skipped or broken stitches and pinholes. The place with starting and ending stitches shall be sewed in close and straight stitches. The wrinkle and shrinkage degree in sewing shall not be lower than Grade 3 according to the requirements of Sample Photo of Grade 5 Appearance Defects and Sewing Wrinkle of Down Garments.
3.8.3 The collar shall be flat, smooth and not upturned; splicing and skipped stitches are not allowed for the top stitch in collar. Top collar, lining and interlining shall be flat and suitable in tightness. Padded coat with removable inner container, the back neck hole and collar extension of front facing shall have clean finish hem and be overlocked or bound. The removable inner container shall be flat and smooth in the connection with front facing. The inner container shall be suitable in tightness with the fabric and button placement shall be bilaterally symmetric. The height dislocation of removable inner container shall not be greater than 1.5cm. If natural fur is used, the grain direction of the rough selvedge and villus of removable cap section shall be consistent and the connection with cap section shall be straight, flat and smooth.
3.8.4 Setting in sleeve is even and smooth; and front and back of two sleeves are basically consistent.
3.8.5 The pockets shall match with the pocket flaps in size and shall be round, smooth and consistent in height. Both ends of pocket mouth shall be firm and inclined fabric shall be bilaterally symmetric.
3.8.6 Welt and batten shall be flat and smooth and be consistent in width.
3.8.7 Burr of the exposed seam allowance shall not be exposed.

3 Requirements
